Night Vision
INELECT uses a simple and cost effective solution to address the problems associated with Night Vision Displays, NVD. INELECT incorporates dual independent LED lighting systems to enable Liquid Crystal Displays to be viewed in bright sunlight and with Night Vision Goggles, NVG.
The primary backlight on the NVD uses an edge lit LED array while the secondary lighting systems is a custom LED direct backlight using NVIS Class A or Class B optical Filters. INELECT utilizes a proprietary backlight controller from HYPERLABS to control dimming across the full range of operation. With 100 step dimming, the primary backlight is adjustable from 100% down to 11%. At 10% dimming, the primary backlight turns off and the Night Vision backlight turns on and has 10 dimming steps in the NV mode.
